Four people were injured yesterday in an accident between a school bus and a sedan. According to police, the accident happened on Fontain Street at around 3:40 p.m.
The school bus, which was traveling northbound on Fontain St., reportedly struck a Chrysler Sebring that was also driving north near the intersection at 19th Street. Police have not issued any charges to either driver, but witnesses to the accident said the Sebring did not have the right of way.
The bus driver and two 17-year-old students riding on the bus suffered unspecified injuries in the car accident. The three were taken to Hahnemann University Hospital, where they were later listed as being in stable condition. A passenger in the sedan, a 22-year-old female, was treated for minor head and neck pain at Temple University Hospital.
