A Philadelphia man was killed in a car accident Wednesday on Interstate 80.
According to officials with the Pennsylvania State Police at Rockview, 19 year-old David K. Doughty Jr. was traveling westbound on I-80 near mile marker 159 when he lost control of his vehicle. The car cut accross two lanes of traffic, went off the right shoulder and crached into a rock embankment, police say.
According to Centre County Coroner Scott Sayers said Doughty was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, and was partially ejected from the vehicle. The accident was reported shortly before 2:00 p.m. and closed two lanes of traffic on I-80.
