Two people were killed in an early morning car accident in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania Sunday.
According to the Limmerick Township Police Department, a car, traveling on Limerick Center Road shortly before 7:30 a.m., ran off the road and struck a utility pole. Both the driver and passenger were pronounced dead at the scene.
Police identified the driver as 21 year-old Ryan Menkins, of Royersford. The passenger was 22 year-old Pittsgrove-resident Shana Gayer.
While the cause of the crash is still unknown, preliminary police reports cite excessive speed as a factor.
