On August 14, a recall was issued for generic Adderall drugs Dextroamphetamine Saccharate, Amphetamine Aspartate, Dextroamphetamine Sulfate and Amphetamine Sulfate 20mg tablets. The recall affects the tablets from lot number 311756.
According to the FDA and Barr Laboritories Inc, some of the tablets may have too much of their active ingredient, resulting in overly potent medication. An overdose could cause a wide range of effects including but not limited to palpitations, tachycardia, insomnia, anxiety and decreased appetite.
